A fake IAS officer has been arrested in Chhapra, Bihar. The individual was identified as Ritesh Kumar Pandit, a resident of Basadhi village in Chhapra district. A case has been registered against the accused and he has been arrested. Employees of the Collectorate said that six months earlier as well, this youth had come twice and met the previous District Magistrate. According to information, on Monday (February 2) at 3 PM, the youth arrived at the Chhapra Collectorate. He identified himself to the orderly stationed there as Ritesh Kumar Pandit, son of Krishna Pandit, resident of Basadhi village, Chhapra Mufassil police station. The youth claimed that he was an IAS officer posted in Meerut and needed to meet District Magistrate Vaibhav Shrivastava for some important work.
